STEP 4 OF 4: Choose Lenses Material
A high index lens provides a number of benefits to the wearer:
- Are thinner and less noticeable in the profile of the glasses.
- High index lenses reduce eye distortion. (also known as the "coke bottle" effect)
- These lenses are more lightweight making the glasses more comfortable to wear.
Very sturdy and well made frames. I found them in a search for frames for "low nose bridge", but I found I needed to buy some thick nose pads (the adhesive kind) as my eyelashes were rubbing the lens. The acetate frame makes it easy to adjust the arms and even the front curvature of the frame, which I did. Still needed the extra nose pad height though. So if you have a very low nose bridge, be aware of that. Otherwise, I really love the style, and extra points for having a very accurate digital try-on feature. The actual frames are very true to how they looked in digital preview on me :)
